1: No installation is required. Take the system out of the box and plug it in. The CAT cellular transmiter can be hidden out of sight, such as in a closet, or in an upstairs bedroom. The motion detectors hang on the wall using small hooks. When a burglar trips the alarm, the remote wireless inside siren will sound to scare or distract the burglar, while the hidden CAT transmitter secretly sends out a cellular radio alarm signal to the 24 hour emergency dispatchers.
2: The most important part on any security system is how it sends emergency alarm signals to the authorities. An alarm system that dials alarm signals over the phone line, can easily be defeated by burglars who simply cut the outside phone lines. ( This has been a problem for years. See the story on our About Us page.) The Guardcom CAT system transmits alarm signals over the AT&T wireless cellular network to 24 hour emergency dispatchers who will notify the police. If the phone line is cut, the alarm signal will still get through.
3: Some alarm companies require that their customers sign a binding 3 or 5 year monitoring contract, with automatic renewal provisions in the contract that make it very difficult for the consumer to cancel the contract. We make it simple. With the Guardcom system, you can cancel your monitoring service anytime, without penalty. |

Our systems utilize a wireless key. These operate like the wireless key that you may have for your automobile that locks and unlocks the doors.
As you leave the your premise, press the "ON" button. A red light will indicate that the system is armed. When you return, press the "Off " button. The red light will turn off, the system is now off.
Wireless keypads are also available, including a talking keypad with built-in entry reminder sounder. |

Actually, there is no installation. The Guardcom CAT, central alarm transmitter, is a small wireless appliance device that can be hidden out of sight, and simply plugs into a standard wall outlet. The motions sit on furniture, or hang on walls with hooks. The siren plugs into a wall outlet.
